South African Dragon Returns!!

It has been a rough season so far in that our team has not had any consistent coaches that show up to practices or games. Even though we appreciate the sacrifice they make coming sometimes, it doesn't help our team out when they don't know the names of the players or what position they play. Many times Jameson has been trying to coach and be a player at the same time but it is difficult during a game to see just what every player is doing or not doing when you are on the field playing the game too. The Davis Rugby coaches have been awesome to let us join them in their practices to help our players who have never played the game before understand their positions and a bit about the rules. But a lot of what our team has learned has come from the actual games we've played.

So we are ecstatic to say that the South African Dragon has returned. Two years ago he was one of the coaches when Jameson was playing for Davis. He grew up in South Africa and has played rugby all of his life. He now plays rugby for the University of Utah but will be at as many practices and games as he can as long as his rugby schedule permits. Garreth is a great coach and after last night's practice the guys came out excited about all that they had learned from him in just one practice. This season is getting better every day!
