Our First Sponsor!!!
I just wanted to let you know that FIREHOUSE PIZZA has wholeheartedly agreed to be our sponsor!! We want everyone to try to patronize their business as much as possible.....and if you have never been there you are really missing out! They have awesome pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, salads, drinks and desserts (am I missing anything?) and some handsome employees too!! (Jameson and Scott) So when you are in there it would be great for you to tell the owners, Neil and Corey, how much you appreciate their willingness to donate money to us.....We hope to be having the end-of-the-year rugby dinner there too!! It is located just south of the America First Credit Union in Centerville and north of Target. They are great!!! And so is their food!!
Missed Opportunity

I was really ripped off having to miss the game last night! I tried to
get there but my tire wouldn't let me so I am sorry to say that because I missed it there will be no action pictures of the Vikings vs. Kearns game unless someone else was there with a camera and is willing to come forward and let me post their pictures! I might have to borrow some of the Kearns pictures when they post them on their website (that is, if they have some!....and don't worry, I will get permission from their coach before I do!)

So, I hear that the game was quite exhilarating and maddening at the same time! Unfortunately, the game didn't end the way that we wanted but the second half was better than the first.....except for the
injuries! Hope everyone is okay for Saturday because our new jerseys will be here and we won't have to wear borrowed jerseys anymore....and we are playing Murray so that should be a good match!
Bring all of your friends because we will have the last of the t-shirts there to share and if we can sell them all we might br
eakeven!! Hope to see you all there!Tuesday, April 22, 2008
Enough Said...IT'S GAME TIME!!
Now that everyone has voiced their opinions.......LET'S MOVE ON AND PLAY RUGBY!!
The team will meet at CJHS at 3:30 p.m. to carpool. For all those rugby fans who want to brave the storm the location of today's game has changed....we are now going to play at Kearns High School located at 4800 West 5600 South. I have been told you can find the directions on the http://www.kearnsrugby.com/ website. Their coach said it is across from the Olympic Oval in Kearns and you go to the flashing sign at the high school, turn down through the student parking and the field is behind the baseball diamond. There may be soccer games going on so parking might be a ways from the field but there should be enough parking....just be prepared to walk.

My Apologies
I just wanted to give my apologies to Coach Babinsky and Coach Hills for being slow.....and I mean very SLOW to get acknowledgment out to them!! (I just need to capture them on my digital! and I will FOR SURE catch them on Wed.!!) I am in need of groveling, I am sure, but at one point I was not sure who the coaches were because of the inconsistency..........But I know now that we indeed have some committed coaches who are AWESOME (I might add!!) and are forming what we hope to be a strong rugby program in the South Davis area and hopefully opening up the way for more teams to be formed within this state....Thanks for your patience with me (Rugby Mom) and I will hopefully get this blog changed to reflect this team as correctly as I can..............Most of the time I can plead insanity but this time I will plead 'brain overload' and lack of organization along with assumption and a little peer pressure(??) and how 'bout "too much on my plate?"......(if that makes any sense at all!!) BTW What size team shirt do you need Coach Hills??? And also.......THANKS to Anonymous for giving me a wakeup call so that I can get on the ball and update the facts!!! (Also thanks for the compliment:)
